Connect email to your site.

When this is done, your site can send real email from your own address — contact-form notifications to you, confirmations to your customers, and newsletters when you want them.

  1. Create a free Resend account. Go to resend.com and sign up. Resend is the service your site will use to send email — confirmations, receipts, newsletters. The free plan covers thousands of emails a month.
  2. Add and verify your domain. In Resend, go to Domains → Add Domain and enter the domain your site uses (e.g. riveralawncare.com). Resend shows a few DNS records to add wherever you bought the domain — copy each one exactly. Verification usually completes within the hour. (No domain yet? You can skip this for now and send from Resend's built-in onboarding address while testing.)
  3. Choose your from-address. Decide what your emails come from — hello@yourdomain.com is the friendly default. It must be on the domain you verified.
  4. Create an API key. In Resend, go to API Keys → Create API Key. Name it "My website", full access is fine. The key starts with "re_" — copy it now (it's shown once).
  5. Paste both into Mission Control. Portal → Settings → Connectors → "Connect a service yourself" → Email (Resend). Paste the API key and your from-address, press "Check & connect". We verify the key with Resend before saving, set it on your hosting, and redeploy.

Stuck on the DNS step?

That's the one that trips people up — ask Claude in Mission Control and tell it where you bought your domain (GoDaddy, Namecheap…); it will give you click-by-click instructions for that exact registrar. Never paste your API key into the chat — keys go in the Connectors panel only.
